Sr.Software Engineer, Software Development

Overview

Sr. Developer/Tech Lead Developer role building web applications with C#, JavaScript, jQuery and Angular, transforming user experiences with self-service features that support the LPL Risk & Compliance domain, based in Hyderabad.

What you'll do

• Develop end-to-end design for the platform, solution delivery and execution, and code quality.
• Apply deep understanding of and seasoned experience in web UI development using container frameworks.
• Perform web-based UI performance tuning and apply industry best-practice solution design.
• Collaborate with peer teams, technology platform owners, product managers/owners, enterprise architecture and platform support teams to deliver production releases.
• Work on Agile projects with CI/CD and collaborate with QA engineers and DevOps to ensure all SDLC processes are adhered to.
• Assess opportunities for platform, application and process improvements.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing systems.
• Build hands-on web and C#/.NET solutions integrating multiple application platforms.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and application integration partners.
• Design for application resiliency, scalability and performance.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8+ years of extensive design and implementation of complex systems in Web, .NET stack and web services (REST/SOAP).
• 5+ years of experience as a full stack developer in web/service-oriented applications.
• 3+ years of experience in Angular (ideally version 15+).
• Must have experience in .NET, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, Bootstrap and JSON.
• Hands-on experience in SQL Server procedures, views, indexes and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience in DevOps tools: GitHub and Liquibase.
• Strong understanding of SOA principles and design patterns.
• Strong experience in code architecture and design principles.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot critical incidents in a timely manner.
• Innovative, self-driven and quick learner abreast of the latest technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience writing unit tests using VS Tests, NUnit, JUnit, MUnit, or Jasmine/Karma.
• Snowflake experience.
• TeamCity, Octopus, Jira.
• Hands-on experience implementing self-service portals.
• Experience developing customer service applications.
• Knowledge of estimation, tools and principles.
• Exposure to cloud-based application design and implementation.
• REST services, SQL Server and Node development experience.
• MS Visual Studio, Visio, Postman, SoapUI, SQL Server query execution.
• Oracle database and SQL knowledge.
• Implementation experience with AWS for service pool and Angular.
• Strong experience in code architecture and design principles.
