Sr Solution Architect

Overview

Serve as a Solutions Architect and trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers, combining architectural guidance with hands-on delivery. Help customers design, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize Couchbase-based data and AI solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead on-site and remote customer engagements.
• Review architectures, use cases, sizing, performance, and deployment topologies.
• Resolve technical challenges from initial design through production operations.
• Implement AI solutions and data-platforming practices using indexing, SQL++, search, vector, and columnar technologies.
• Support installation, deployment, and operational best practices.
• Present architectural concepts to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Author technical collateral and contribute to internal development, benchmarking, and troubleshooting projects.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of enterprise back-end software consulting experience focused on database technologies.
• 2+ years working with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Application design and development experience.
• Familiarity with traditional RDBMS schema modeling and configuration.
• Experience engaging developers and using AI-assisted development or evaluation techniques.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, presentation, and communication skills.
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field; fluency in English.
