Sr. Specialist - BI, Reporting and Data Visualization 4D

Overview

Build, maintain and enhance user-facing Power BI dashboards and reports for Corporate Tech as a T2 individual contributor, working with product, design, architecture and back-end teams.

What you'll do

• Build, test and maintain Power BI front-end applications and analytics, ensuring usability, responsiveness and maintainability.
• Develop reusable BI components and page templates aligned to enterprise design standards and component libraries.
• Develop data models and DAX calculations.
• Implement Power BI embedded analytics.
• Translate wireframes, mockups and requirements into functional user interfaces across desktop and mobile form factors.
• Apply engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, documentation, security and performance optimization.
• Partner with product owners, designers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver user-focused front-end features.
• Integrate BI components with APIs and back-end services to enable seamless data flow and application behavior.
• Support sprint planning, estimation and delivery of enhancements.
• Provide production support for BI applications, troubleshooting issues and driving continuous improvement.
• Follow coding standards, peer review processes and release management practices.
• Ensure applications meet accessibility, responsive design, browser compatibility and security requirements.
• Contribute to automated testing and quality assurance using unit, integration and UI testing practices.
• Support deployment and transition of analytics solutions into production with monitoring and documentation.
• Monitor solution health, investigate incidents and resolve data or reporting issues with minimal business disruption.
• Mentor other developers by sharing best practices and reviewing code.
• Identify opportunities to modernize analytics assets, improve reusability and streamline data flows across Corporate Tech domains.

What you'll need

• Deep expertise in Power BI and analytics development tools.
• Experience building responsive, accessible and reusable BI components and integrating them with APIs.
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, code reviews, debugging and performance optimization.
• Ability to work with designers, back-end developers, architects and product managers to deliver user-centered solutions.
• Experience working in agile teams with accountability for delivering features and resolving defects.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn and apply new technologies and upgrades.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Open to learning React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS for enterprise front-end development considering future roadmap.
• Bachelor's in Business Analytics, Computer Science or Statistics, or Master's in Data Science.
• Language: English, proficient (C2).

Nice to have

• Understanding of browser compatibility, web security basics and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with enterprise application development, internal portals or shared service platforms.
• Experience supporting corporate functions such as digital workplace, finance tech, HR tech, risk or sustainability.
• React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Reusable UI component development, state management, front-end testing.
• Certified Data Management Professional (Riversand).
