Overview

Sr Staff Engineer focused on EM/IR power integrity sign-off for semiconductor hardware, including analysis, debugging support, and EMIR flow development.

What you'll do

Own full-chip and block-level static/dynamic IR drop and signal/power electromigration sign-off.
Perform die plus interposer and die plus interposer plus package analysis.
Drive root-cause debugging for voltage and electromigration violations with physical design teams.
Own power estimation and sign-off using Primepower and Joules across different use cases.
Define and maintain EMIR methodologies using EDA tools such as Ansys RedHawk-SC or Cadence Voltus.
Collaborate across chip-package-system integration and coordinate with PnR, DFT, timing, and related groups.
Direct daily task allocation and manage project schedules to meet tapeout milestones.

What you'll need

12+ years of relevant semiconductor industry experience in power integrity sign-off.
Advanced expertise in RedHawk_SC and Voltus, plus scripting proficiency in Python/TCL.
Deep knowledge in the EMIR domain.
Knowledge of adjacent domains like STA and interoperability.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, VLSI, or a related electronics discipline.
Experience with vector based IR signoff and vector less signoff in different modes.
