SR SW SYSTEMS ENGINEER- Forwarding Dev- BCM Chip- Data plane

Overview

Senior software systems engineer developing the packet forwarding data plane, working on BCM-based XGS and DNX chipsets.

What you'll do

• Develop and deliver the components and modules you own, handling the complete delivery cycle.
• Troubleshoot and debug memory leaks and performance bottlenecks.
• Work with multi-site project teams.
• Learn on the job and take on new technical challenges.
• Be productive in flexible and dynamic work environments.

What you'll need

• 4-8 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of networking data plane forwarding concepts in L2, L3, VXLAN, MCT, ACL and QOS.
• Strong understanding of routing algorithms and data structures.
• Strong understanding of control plane networking concepts.
• In-depth understanding of Linux operating systems and embedded software development.
• Excellent programming knowledge in C.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• BTech in Computer Engineering.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience programming BCM-based XGS and DNX family chipsets.
• Exposure to GO and microservices architecture.
