Sr. Systems Developer

Overview

The Sr. Systems Developer maintains and supports corporate applications, including security, configuration, validation and deployments, and provides systems analysis, design, development, testing and support for moderately complex technical information system components.

What you'll do

• Develop cost and resource estimates for projects.
• Provide recommendations on database design.
• Develop and code system components according to specifications.
• Prepare and approve system documentation, including requirements documents, specification documents, test plans and user manuals.
• Perform unit and system tests and, as needed, validation testing.
• Coordinate with Operations staff on application deployments.
• Collaborate with other IT groups to include support and deployment of product.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and contract labor in executing systems development responsibilities.
• Work with business partners to analyze and address support requests.
• Ensure all activities are performed with quality and compliance.
• Maintain and support corporate applications, including managing releases, troubleshooting issues and managing application documentation.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job, comparable to 5+ years.
• Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, Web Services, ETL and related technologies, and REST services.
• Excellent knowledge of basic relational database platforms.
• Strong logic, analysis and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with Microsoft IIS.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Familiarity with Azure Web App.
• Familiarity with Azure Function App.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with clinical industry knowledge.
• Familiarity with project management.

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• Work schedule: Standard, Monday through Friday.
• Work environment: Office.
• Long, varied hours are required occasionally.
• Required to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Required to work in APAC Shift-2: 1 PM IST – 10 PM IST / 3:30 PM PST – 12:30 AM PST.
