Overview
Senior Technical Architect to own technical delivery and outcomes for complex, high-priority customer engagements on Snowflake’s Services Delivery team.
What you'll do
- Lead customer engagements as the primary technical authority and own architecture decisions.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into scalable technical solutions with delivery and risk plans.
- Architect and implement end-to-end AI/ML solutions on Snowflake, setting standards for scalability, performance, security, and operability.
- Define and champion MLOps practices including deployment pipelines, monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Drive adoption of Snowflake’s AI product suite, including Cortex, Streamlit in Snowflake, and Snowflake Intelligence.
- Lead replatforming efforts for complex AI/ML workloads onto Snowflake.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, data engineering, or a senior customer-facing technical role.
- BA/BS in computer science/engineering/mathematics or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated track record leading architecture decisions on large-scale enterprise data and AI platforms.
- Deep hands-on experience implementing Snowflake in production, including data modeling, performance tuning, security design, and governance.
- Expert-level understanding of the data analytics stack from ETL/data pipelines to platform architecture, BI tooling, and semantic layers.
- Strong grasp of the AI/ML lifecycle from data preparation and feature engineering through training, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python to produce and review production-quality code.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with generative AI and LLM use cases in production.
- Experience building/scaling a Center of Excellence or establishing architecture standards across a large enterprise.
- AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure advanced certifications.
- Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Certifications.
- Deep industry vertical expertise (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Media and Entertainment).
