Sr Technical Architect - Consulting (GPTS-TMS)

Overview

Serve as a Sr Technical Architect supporting customer implementations and architecting and designing a ground-up cloud-native Azure SaaS product for order management and micro-fulfillment. Work with platform, product, technical architect and distinguished architect counterparts, while mentoring junior and mid-level software associates.

What you'll do

• Work with the technical architect to develop specifications, analyze user needs, and test and develop solutions as necessary.
• Develop and validate integration components across Blue Yonder Solutions and client systems.
• Work with the Team Lead to provide timely, appropriate-level communication regarding assigned work.
• Work with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved.
• Conduct yourself professionally with Blue Yonder customers and internal associates.
• Complete assigned work within the allotted time.
• Escalate issues that may negatively impact the project timeline.
• Ensure the security and integrity of corporate assets and intellectual property.
• Mentor junior and mid-level software associates on the team.

What you'll need

• BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech or MCA with 7 CGPA and above, without past or active backlogs.
• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 7 years of experience.
• Full understanding of software fundamentals.
• High attention to detail.
• Persistent and positive attitude.
• Creative problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems.
• Knowledge of RDBMS concepts, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and SQL/PL SQL.
• Development knowledge in C++ and Java.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Unix Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Python and Perl.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud.
• Data Science and data warehousing knowledge.

Nice to have

• Certification in Azure fundamentals.

• The technical environment includes Mulesoft, MB-Active MQ, Java, Springboot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, REST API, OAuth and Snowflake.
• The application architecture is scalable, resilient, event-driven, secure and multi-tenant, using microservices architecture.
• The cloud architecture uses Microsoft Azure, including ARM templates, AKS, HDInsight, Application Gateway, virtual networks, Event Hub and Azure AD.
• Frameworks and other technologies include Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NoSQL, RDBMS, Springboot, Gradle, GIT and Ignite.
