Staff Design Evaluation Engineer

Overview

Staff Design Evaluation Engineer within Post‑Silicon Engineering, responsible for bench validation for new SoC product developments.

What you'll do

• Drive post‑silicon evaluation from first‑silicon bring‑up through full validation across PVT corners.
• Design and develop bench hardware and software solutions for complex digital and mixed‑signal SoCs.
• Develop, execute, and automate test scripts for validation, debug, and characterization.
• Contribute to DFT definition and development with Design teams to improve debug and testability.
• Define and align a Silicon Characterization and Measurement (SCM) plan with Product and Test Engineering.
• Support correlation between bench evaluation results and production test data for product ramp.

What you'll need

• B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 4–8 years of hands‑on experience in high‑speed digital validation and firmware development for MCUs, DSPs, and NPUs.
• Strong experience in MCU/Processor test firmware development.
• Experience in electrical compliance characterization and system validation of high‑speed interfaces (DDR3, PCIe, CSI, USB, HDMI).
• Experience characterizing precision analog IPs including ADCs, DACs, and voltage references.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C, C#, and VHDL/Verilog.
