Principal Engineer Verification

Overview

Principal Engineer Verification role focused on defining and executing silicon validation and characterization test activities, including automation for bench test equipment.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with Silicon Validation and Characterization teams to gather and analyze test requirements.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks for silicon validation.
• Run validation activities on FPGA platforms and silicon devices with cross-functional teams.
• Design and implement Python and LabVIEW automation solutions for bench test equipment.
• Manage project execution via schedules and coordinated deliverables in a Program Manager role.
• Ensure test coverage, data collection, and reporting for quality and performance objectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of validation methodologies and testing processes.

What you'll need

• 13+ years of experience with microcontrollers and SoC products.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong bench characterization experience in Analog, Digital, and Mixed-Signal IPs.
• Hands-on laboratory equipment experience including SMUs, DMMs, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
• Programming proficiency in C, Python, and LabVIEW (LabVIEW experience highly desirable).
• Understanding of voltage regulators, reference circuits, and precision measurement techniques.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
