Staff Engineer - CCRS ServiceNow

Overview

Lead architecture, scalable solution design, and engineering excellence for the Compliance, Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability team's ServiceNow and SaaS platforms. This hands-on leadership role combines strategic architecture and platform vision with solution design, complex builds, and integration execution while collaborating with teams across the US, Europe, and APAC.

What you'll do

• Own and evolve end-to-end architecture for the ServiceNow and SaaS ecosystem within CCRS.
• Define and enforce design standards, reusable patterns, and governance models.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements.
• Drive platform scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
• Act as the primary technical authority for ServiceNow and integrations.
• Provide hands-on support in complex design and troubleshooting scenarios.
• Mentor engineers and elevate the overall technical capability of the India team.
• Lead architecture reviews, proofs of concept, and technology evaluations.
• Design and deliver solutions using ServiceNow, multiple SaaS platforms, and custom applications.
• Drive reuse and standardization across ServiceNow applications.
• Optimize platform usage to reduce technical debt and operational overhead.
• Define and implement enterprise integration patterns including REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and pub/sub.
• Lead integrations across ServiceNow, SaaS platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Define release management and environment strategies.
• Ensure high system reliability through monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Partner with global stakeholders and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions at scale.
• Participate in overlapping time zones to support global programs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset, training, or work experience in a relevant technical domain.
• 5-8 years of engineering experience in a relevant technical domain.
• Deep hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including UI Builder, App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Workspaces.
• Strong expertise in multi-SaaS environments and enterprise integrations.
• Programming expertise in JavaScript, which is must-have, plus Java or Python.
• Proven experience in architecture ownership.
• Proven experience scaling platforms across global teams.
• Strong understanding of performance, security, and compliance in SaaS platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with integration platforms including Boomi, Kafka, Talend, or ACE.
• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS.
• Experience in ESG, sustainability, or regulatory systems.
• Experience with modern test frameworks such as Playwright and ATF automation.
