Overview
Staff Fullstack Integrations Engineer for the newly formed internal Integrations team, acting as a technical lead for designing and governing resilient backend services that connect the platform with SaaS ecosystems.
What you'll do
- Write Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) for major integrations and platform decisions.
- Design and build isolated, decoupled microservices in TypeScript and Go.
- Define frontend standards and component architecture for integration surfaces and configuration/data flows.
- Own infrastructure-as-code practices using AWS CDK across multi-region environments.
- Build idempotent outbound APIs and asynchronous webhook ingestion pipelines using AWS services.
- Instrument services with OpenTelemetry and design Datadog dashboards for key SLIs; drive incident response maturity.
- Ensure tenant isolation, align with GDPR data minimization, and meet SOC 2 Type II cryptographic requirements.
What you'll need
- Extensive experience as a lead, staff, or principal engineer in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript and Go with production microservices at scale.
- Mastery of AWS serverless paradigms including CDK, EventBridge, SQS, Lambda, and Secrets Manager.
- Proven ability to design decoupled, event-driven architectures and discuss distributed systems trade-offs.
- Observability experience with Datadog, OpenTelemetry, structured logging, and distributed tracing.
- Ability to lead through influence with strong communication skills across engineering and product stakeholders.
- Experience authoring ADRs or equivalent technical design documentation.
Nice to have
- Experience building CRM integrations (Salesforce, Microsoft, HubSpot, or similar).
- Familiarity with PHP, Kotlin, or Python for legacy service transitions.
- Experience building and maintaining SDK packages for third-party developers.
- Working knowledge of AI-first development tooling and practices.
