Overview
Join TriNet's Technology team as a hands-on Staff Salesforce Business Analyst. Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations to define the Salesforce roadmap and deliver scalable, compliant solutions across Salesforce CRM, Agentforce, and CPQ.
What you'll do
- Drive the full lifecycle of Salesforce projects through discovery, proof of concept, story creation, prioritization, testing, release, and adoption.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops and perform process analysis to identify business needs and opportunities.
- Design and validate solution prototypes to demonstrate feasibility and value.
- Translate requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
- Prioritize the backlog with business and technical teams.
- Develop and execute test cases, coordinate user acceptance testing, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Oversee deployment, change management, and release documentation.
- Deliver training, enablement, and ongoing support to drive user adoption and maximize business value.
- Facilitate workshops and interviews to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
- Manage Salesforce users and licenses, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules, and security settings.
- Configure objects, fields, record types, page layouts, Lightning App/Record Pages, Dynamic Forms, and related lists.
- Automate processes using Flows, Approvals, Email Alerts, and In-App Guidance, and deprecate legacy Workflow Rules/Process Builder.
- Create reports and dashboards and manage analytics folders and role-based data visibility.
- Manage data quality through validation rules, duplicate rules, picklist governance, and field-level help.
- Manage releases and changes through sandbox strategy, change sets, metadata versioning, and UAT coordination.
- Support Service Cloud/Agentforce capabilities including case management, omni-channel routing, knowledge base, SLAs, macros, and agent assist features.
- Manage Experience Cloud community setup, page access, and content governance.
- Support CPQ product catalogs, pricing rules, quote templates, renewals, and amendments.
- Collaborate on integrations such as MuleSoft/Boomi, Connected Apps, and data migration.
- Support Sales Cloud lead management, opportunity stages, forecasting, territories, and sales cadences.
- Define and execute test cases, support UAT, deliver training, and provide Tier-2/3 troubleshooting.
- Enforce security, audit trails, and data retention policies and partner with InfoSec/Compliance for regulatory requirements.
- Analyze usage, propose process and UX improvements, and measure outcomes through KPIs and adoption metrics.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years as a Salesforce Business Analyst.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration in multi-cloud environments.
- Proven experience with Salesforce CRM, CPQ, and Agentforce.
- Salesforce Business Analyst, CPQ Specialist, Platform App Builder, and Service/Sales Cloud Consultant certifications.
- Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201) certification.
- Expertise in Salesforce Administration, including profiles, permission sets, Flows, validation rules, sharing/security, and release/change management.
- Deep knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud/Agentforce, Experience Cloud, and CPQ.
- Proficiency with process mapping tools such as Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio, and Miro.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Monday, and Asana.
- Advanced Salesforce reporting and dashboard skills.
- Strong Excel and BI tool familiarity.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to be highly organized, detail-oriented, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- Advanced Administrator (ADM-211) certification.
