Overview
Design and build scalable security platforms and distributed systems as a hands-on Staff Security Software Engineer. Lead technical direction across teams and deliver security solutions in evolving security and AI environments.
What you'll do
- Lead security engineering initiatives from design through delivery.
- Build scalable security platforms and distributed systems.
- Translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready solutions.
- Drive architecture, technical design reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and security solutions through prototypes.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
What you'll need
- 8+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional engineering initiatives.
- Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or C++.
- Experience designing and operating scalable, reliable software platforms.
- Understanding of system architecture, distributed systems, performance, and reliability.
- Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, including IAM and security controls.
- Security engineering experience in a relevant domain and a degree in computer science or a related technical field.
Nice to have
- Experience building security products, platforms, or services at scale.
- Experience using AI technologies to improve security capabilities or engineering productivity.
- Experience driving architecture and technical strategy across multiple teams.
Details
- Location: Bengaluru.
- Work model: Hybrid, with at least 3 office days per week and up to 2 work-from-home days depending on role requirements.
