Staff Software Engineer

Overview

Staff Software Engineer on the Care Interactions team within Hinge Health’s CareHub platform, building systems for clinical care communications and personalized MSK care at scale.

What you'll do

• Deliver large projects that introduce new product capabilities and maintain key code repositories.
• Break down complex problems into manageable tasks to enable steady, predictable delivery and incident root-cause resolution.
• Collaborate to roadmap and execute technical strategies across short- and long-term trade-offs.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and real-time pairing.
• Integrate AI technologies to automate processes and enhance product features.
• Improve maintainability, availability, and performance, and contribute to team architecture and developer tooling.
• Communicate technical ideas to technical and non-technical partners and document solutions.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of non-internship full-time professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience with at least one software programming language.
• 4+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle.
• 3+ years of React JS and Node JS/TypeScript experience.
• 1+ years mentoring and leading junior team members and collaborating cross-functionally on planning/decisions.
• Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, LangChain, or LangGraph.
• Experience delivering large software projects or features in a production environment.

• Location: Bengaluru-based role (Bengaluru-HQ).
• Hybrid model: office 3 days/week.
