Staff Software Engineer

Overview

Staff Software Engineer responsible for technical leadership across the design, development, delivery, and operation of secure, cloud-native applications. The role remains hands-on while guiding architecture and engineering outcomes across multiple teams.

What you'll do

• Lead technical design and delivery of scalable full-stack solutions using C#/.NET and Next.js/React.
• Shape architecture and engineering strategy across applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms.
• Partner with engineering, product, platform, security, and business stakeholders on technical solutions.
• Improve engineering quality through reusable patterns, reviews, testing, observability, security, and operational practices.
• Mentor senior engineers and facilitate technical decisions across teams.
• Own complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis and systemic improvements.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience leading complex systems and influencing outcomes across teams.
• Experience operating cloud-native workloads on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Next.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems, integration patterns, asynchronous processing, and data modelling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science or Information Technology.
