Staff SW Engineer- Java backend with GenAI experience

Overview

Staff SW Engineer for the Java backend, with experience working on GenAI/LLM integrations in a fintech domain.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements for product components and incorporate feedback.
• Translate functional requirements into system designs and communicate component interactions.
• Design and develop product components, refining code plans and leading design reviews.
• Lead by example with extensible, reusable code and drive code quality via metrics and best practices.
• Apply debugging tools to resolve moderately complex issues and find automation opportunities.
• Lead code reviews and create test plans, identifying gaps and addressing defects.
• Respond to incidents during on-call, troubleshoot complex issues, and support incident resolution.

What you’ll need

• 7.5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Extensive technical experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Deep understanding of distributed system architectures and patterns.
• Distributed systems expertise including consensus/coordinators and data management patterns.
• Experience building APIs with SOAP/REST plus knowledge of OAuth and SAML.
• Hands-on experience integrating and serving LLMs at scale.
