Overview
Strategic Sourcing Manager overseeing category management for multiple indirect spend areas, driving sourcing strategies, negotiations, and contract lifecycle management end to end.
What you'll do
- Develop and execute category strategies across indirect spend areas (HR, Marketing, Facilities, Finance, Travel, Contingent Workforce, and Operations).
- Run competitive bids, negotiate commercial/contractual terms, and drive outcomes with accountability for timelines and alignment.
- Coordinate contract reviews with Legal, Privacy, InfoSec, AI Council, and Finance and remove review delays.
- Use data analytics and AI-driven tools to identify savings opportunities and generate procurement insights.
- Manage supplier relationships by tracking performance, addressing risks, and escalating issues as needed.
- Maintain market intelligence on suppliers, pricing trends, and emerging technologies relevant to categories.
- Lead or support initiatives like vendor management programs and procurement policy rollouts.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of relevant strategic sourcing or procurement experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
- Hands-on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems experience (e.g., Coupa, Asana, SAP Ariba, Oracle, Jaggaer).
- Experience leading sourcing initiatives across indirect categories including at least one of HR, Marketing, Facilities, Finance, or Operations.
- Knowledge of procurement/sourcing principles and contract types (MSA, SaaS, Licensing).
- Ability to conduct financial analysis to evaluate sourcing options.
- Prior exposure to the software industry (mandatory requirement).
