Sourcing & Procurement Analyst (Software Buying Desk)

Overview

Sourcing & Procurement Analyst for a Software Buying Desk, supporting end-to-end procurement category activities, including renewals management.

What you'll do

• Develop relationships with stakeholders including Enterprise Technology, Technology Leadership, Agency IT, Finance, and Legal.
• Support delivery of category plans, sourcing events, and commercial contract management for specific spend categories.
• Request and analyse category and supplier market insights and WPP spend with the Procurement Operations Team.
• Manage signature process for contractual documentation and upload documents to a central contracts repository.
• Manage renewals and spot buys as requested by Category Director or Buying Desk Manager.
• Identify category/supplier risks, highlight them, and manage them as advised.
• Undertake data analysis to identify ongoing cost saving opportunities.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement into Technology/Software space.
• Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Experience communicating and working with stakeholders.
• Experience managing an end-to-end software deal.
• Experience of data analysis.
• Ability to problem solve and demonstrate critical thinking.
• Knowledge of sustainability.
• Technology procurement knowledge (preferred), including hardware, IT services, infrastructure, cloud, and AI applications.
