Summer Internship – Process & Process Safety Engineering

Overview

A 10-week summer internship in Process Engineering at bp, based in the Pune office, working on real projects within one team with a dedicated line manager and buddy.

What you'll do

• Apply chemical/process engineering skills to solve real-world problems in technology development, projects, or operations.
• Care passionately about the safety of our facilities and develop the skills needed to constantly seek inherently safer solutions.
• Recognize the risks in the work you are doing and constantly seek ways to mitigate them.
• Recognize the environmental impact of the facilities you are working on and constantly seek ways to reduce it.
• Build relationships within bp and with external partners, collaborating across functions, segments and teams to deliver excellence.
• Demonstrate drive and dedication through the bp values, with an emphasis on safety.

What you'll need

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• Maintain a CGPA of minimum 7.
• Be from the class of 2028.
• Be eligible for a 10-week internship between May and July 2027.
• Have a willingness to learn, a passion to excel and deliver results.

Details

• Location: Pune office.
• Internship duration: 10 weeks.
• No travel expected.
• Not eligible for relocation assistance.
• Not available for remote working.
