Supplier Quality Engineer

Overview

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will manage parts quality and supplier process development to support RFT and long-term process capability of outsourced parts.

What you'll do

• Review and assess supplier processes and identify quality issues.
• Maintain supplier documentation, reports, and records while tracking performance.
• Provide technical guidance and communicate with suppliers and senior management.
• Conduct on-site supplier process audits and visit high-impact suppliers regularly.
• Coordinate deviation requests and manage corrective actions through 8D closures with root cause analysis.
• Perform APQP reviews and conduct supplier PPAP-related activities prior to approving PPAP.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience with a Diploma or 7+ years of experience with a BE.
• Strong know-how of machining, stampings, plastics, and electronics parts.
• Hands-on experience in part validation (PPAP) and quality tools.
• Strong expertise in process development at suppliers.
• Working proficiency with MS-Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of standards and quality systems including DIN, ISO, TS16949, and OSHAS.
