Overview
Support Analyst responsible for maintaining platform stability and providing technical support for Rates, Credit and FX IT systems in the banking, financial or capital markets domain.
What you'll do
- Focus on platform stability for Rates, Credit and FX IT systems.
- Work closely with Traders, Sales and Client teams to ensure technical support.
- Manage incidents and communicate with stakeholders.
- Manage changes and incidents via ServiceNow.
- Work closely with Development teams to fix recurrent issues and implement enhancements.
- Contribute to AI transformation by raising initiatives, creating practical use cases, contributing to governance, and leveraging AI to boost efficiency and achieve cost savings.
- Minimize manual tasks, automate processes wherever possible, and secure critical team operations to reduce human error triggers and impacts.
- Drive Production Excellence by enforcing stability, proactive monitoring, meeting incident volume and target resolution times, and fostering a problem-solving mindset to prevent recurrence.
- Systematically consider external client impacts when addressing Production issues or performing changes.
- Strengthen the control framework, remediate vulnerabilities, control access rights, and contribute to resiliency programs.
- Ensure data reliability across all referential and compliance with asset management frameworks, including ServiceNow tickets and ITAM recertification.
- Enhance communication and collaboration within Production and with ITO stakeholders and IT Group.
- Participate in global management of activities and teams.
- Maintain high-quality BAU and impactful deliverables.
- Communicate issues and risks promptly.
- Maintain vigilance and alertness for all Production activities.
- Focus on user access management, trade limits management and business-critical activities.
What you'll need
- 7-8 years of experience in the banking, financial, or capital markets domain.
- Analyst, Data Engineering or Support background.
- Functional knowledge of Settlements Securities.
- Calypso tool knowledge.
- BAU monitoring experience with Splunk, Geneos and logs.
- Scripting experience with Python, shell scripting and Autosys.
- ITIL knowledge and experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Excel and LLM.
- Ability to work with a global team across regions and work in a diverse environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact directly with traders.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (B.E.) – EXTC, IT or Computer Science from a reputed university.
- First Class or Distinction grade.
- Consistent and good academic track record.
