Forward Deployed Engineer - India

Overview

Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with customer engineering teams to build, launch, and support production-grade AI-powered software workflows. The role covers discovery, end-to-end implementation, production reliability, and improving reusable product patterns.

What you'll do

• Lead discovery with customer engineers and define success metrics.
• Design and build AI-powered workflows for refactoring, migrations, code review, incident response, and implementation.
• Ship initial versions quickly and harden them through rollout plans, monitoring, and iteration.
• Own production quality through tracing, evaluations, metrics, debugging, and failure-mode analysis.
• Collaborate with senior engineering and platform leaders on technical tradeoffs and results.
• Turn implementations into reusable patterns for the core product.

What you'll need

• Experience building and owning AI-native workflows in production.
• Experience debugging real-world model failures.
• Ability to lead discovery conversations and own customer outcomes.
• Ability to build across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and prompt iteration.
• Experience with production reliability, including metrics, alerts, safe rollouts, and incident response.
• Strong Python and TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
