System Administrator - IT

Overview

Build and maintain IT infrastructure while ensuring the performance, security, availability, and compliance of systems, networks, and applications. Collaborate with IT experts and business stakeholders, mentor junior administrators, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll do

• Install, configure, and maintain servers on Azure, virtualization platforms, and operating systems.
• Troubleshoot endpoint operating systems and hardware.
• Manage endpoint devices, Entra, Jamf, and Group Policy deployments.
• Develop automation and use AI to streamline tasks.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Defender, DLP, Purview, and enterprise software licenses.
• Configure networks, Wi-Fi, authentication, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Develop project documentation and maintain operational playbooks.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive experience with Active Directory, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Hands-on experience with Aruba, SIEM, Palo Alto GlobalProtect, and firewalls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and network administration.
• Knowledge of security best practices and protocols.
• Ability to lead and manage technical projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
