System HW Applications Engineer, Staff

Overview

Staff System HW Applications Engineer responsible for integrating Qualcomm solutions into customer end products and owning project outcomes across HW/system and applications.

What you'll do

• Integrate and interpret information across cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and find solutions.
• Act as a tech lead on projects and own project outcomes for platforms/applications.
• Collaborate with HW/SW/validation/test and product teams on customized customer application use cases.
• Support customers with HW design signoffs and system/SoC debug, including relevant deliverables.
• Create chipset documentation and assist with technical responses to customer queries.
• Manage cross-functional engineering teams and guide project execution and completion.

What you'll need

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience interacting with multiple teams across HW and SW.
• Background in digital/high-speed/SoC and power management topics.
• Knowledge of silicon validation activities and customer engagement.
• Troubleshooting and debug ability at PCB, HW IP, SW, and SoC levels.
• Programming knowledge in C; scripting languages Perl/Python preferred.

Details

• Location: Bangalore, India.
• Travel to customer sites across geographical locations in Asia/NA on need basis.
