System Software Engineer II

Overview

System Software Engineer II responsible for Windows operating system image configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

What you'll do

• Configure Windows operating system images through defined processes.
• Develop and improve image deployment processes.
• Execute change control for image deployments.
• Develop Windows 11 core images.
• Automate image capture and deployment workflows.
• Analyze factory stop-ship issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Identify process bottlenecks and coordinate improvements.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of progressive experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent.
• Experience creating, rolling out, and troubleshooting deployment packages.
• Working experience with ADK, MDT, Symantec Ghost, DISM, and Clonezilla.
• PowerShell experience and ability to understand other scripting languages.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to write and analyze requirements, specifications, test plans, and documentation.

Nice to have

• Hands-on knowledge of secure boot and Boot Guard, including UEFI and BIOS.
• Good presentation skills.
