Systems Control Engineer

Overview

Systems Control Engineer responsible for specifying, designing, implementing, validating and commissioning drive systems across multiple industrial domains.

What you'll do

• Develop and validate control systems for drive-system projects.
• Create and maintain design and contract documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Validate control systems with real-time simulators in HIL and SIL modes.
• Adapt project-specific controls for variable-speed-drive applications.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, sales, projects, commissioning and service teams.
• Manage engineering changes and standardize engineering solutions.
• Provide technical advice to sales and tendering teams.

What you'll need

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or ME/M.Tech in Control Systems, Power Electronics or VFD Controls Engineering.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in DC, LV AC, MV VSI or CSI drive-control-system design.
• Experience with power-electronics and electrical-component sizing, selection and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of induction, synchronous and DC motors and their speed-control methods.
• Experience with VFD system selection, simulation tools and drive-control validation.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs and industrial communication protocols.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple projects and communicate effectively.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of French or German.
• Experience with harmonics, EMC mitigation, industrial networks and real-time simulators.
• Programming experience in FBD or Ladder for industrial PLC and HMI systems.
