Systems Engineer II

Overview

Systems Engineer II supporting the integration, verification, validation, and development of complex implantable medical device systems for central nervous system treatments.

What you'll do

• Lead system integration planning across cross-functional project teams.
• Investigate system issues and lead verification and validation testing.
• Advance automated and hands-on system testing for product performance and reliability.
• Translate customer needs and workflows into requirements, design features, and integration test cases.
• Participate in system architecture, risk analysis, and usability validation activities.
• Resolve product issues during development and after launch.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to other employees.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of experience working with implantable medical systems.
• Experience integrating complex systems and electromechanical, software, and wireless subsystems.
• Experience with medical products and their clinical use.
• Experience troubleshooting firmware and hardware with oscilloscopes and signal analyzers.
• Experience writing software and test scripts using Python, Groovy, Java, or LabVIEW.
• Experience designing systems in regulated environments and applying system engineering methods.
• Strong communication, data analysis, decision-making, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
