Tableau and SQL BI Developer - Assistant Vice President

Overview

Lead BI development using Tableau and SQL, delivering dashboards, data visualizations, and application-development solutions while supporting business users and technology teams.

What you'll do

• Oversee Tableau dashboard design, deployment, performance, and support.
• Build data visualizations that explain complex data.
• Plan, estimate, and manage development projects.
• Collaborate with and support the offshore team in India.
• Investigate Generative AI and LLMs for coding, testing, and documentation.
• Provide technical support and mentor junior analysts.
• Ensure development follows policies, regulations, and risk controls.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive Tableau experience.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, and data-source connectivity skills.
• Experience managing and delivering successful projects.
• Experience with Big Data technologies, Python, or R.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MicroStrategy or Power BI.
• Experience with API platforms, especially Starburst.
• Familiarity with GitHub/Git, Lightspeed, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Banking and finance experience, especially FP&A and Treasury.
