Tax Associate, Real Property Tax

Overview

Tax Associate responsible for real property tax work, including verifying tax bills, payment administration, refund processing, tracking assessment notices, and preparing property tax returns.

What you'll do

• Verify tax bills and handle payment administration.
• Process refunds and track and log assessment notices.
• Prepare Property Tax Returns.
• Perform reconciliation and quality control methods and review work of self and peers.
• Provide proactive work status updates to the US / India liaison.
• Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
• Handle calls to tax jurisdictions and offshore/onshore staff.
• Complete tasks assigned by management with a sense of urgency and confidentiality where needed.
• Create a positive team experience.

What you'll need

• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or Business.
• 0-1 years of experience in US Taxation.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Location: Hyderabad, India (Atria).
• Standard workweek of 50+ hours.
