Tax Services Associate - EO

Overview

Tax Services Associate responsible for US tax compliance work for clients, including preparation and initial review of tax returns and collaboration with other tax professionals.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review IRS Forms 990, 990-T, 990-PF, and 1023.
• Prepare workpapers and calculate taxable income.
• Research and analyze technical issues involving tax-exempt status and UBIT.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to resolve tax matters.
• Coordinate team priorities and schedules with resource management.
• Learn new US tax skills and relevant technologies.

What you'll need

• At least 1.5 years of experience in US taxation.
• Understanding of federal and state tax compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with OneSource Income Tax, CCH, and GoSystem.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality.

Nice to have

• Master's degree, CPA, or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Knowledge of partnership and state returns.
• Experience with Big 4, large accounting firms, US-based firms, or in-house corporate tax.
• MS Office and Alteryx skills.
