Tax Services Associate - Partnership

Overview

Support U.S. tax compliance for clients as a Tax Services Associate focused on federal partnership tax returns. The role includes preparing and reviewing returns, collaborating with tax professionals, and supporting client tax matters.

What you'll do

• Prepare and review U.S. federal partnership tax returns using Form 1065 and K-1 allocations.
• Prepare workpapers and calculate taxable income.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to resolve tax matters.
• Coordinate team priorities and schedules with resource management.
• Support senior team members and guide junior members.
• Build knowledge of U.S. tax and relevant technologies.

What you'll need

• At least 1.5 years of experience in U.S. taxation.
• Understanding of federal and state tax compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with OneSource Income Tax, CCH, and GoSystem tax software.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong attention to accuracy and quality.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, CPA, or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience with a Big 4, national, regional, or U.S.-based accounting firm.
• In-house corporate tax experience.
• Experience with MS Office and Alteryx.
