TD Software Test & Support Engineer

Overview

Airbus is hiring a TD Software Test and Support Engineer within Airbus Customer Services (Tech Data Support & Services) to validate and support the airnav X application ecosystem and related Technical Data applications.

What you'll do

• Validate evolutions and manage defects of the airnav X applications (Online, Full Online, Intranet, Standalone, Editing, Offline), and/or the GenEWIS application, and/or the STDO application.
• Support the Business Application Owner (BAO) and participate in the support analysis of these applications.
• Manage User Acceptance Test (UAT) activities in coordination with Business Application Owners and other entities such as the UAT Coordination team, Project Leaders and Product Leaders.
• Ensure dataset availability for test campaigns and availability of validation environment test accounts when required.
• Execute functional tests and non-regression tests.
• Open and track defects during test campaigns.
• Update and maintain non-regression test scripts as applications evolve over time.
• Participate in relevant meetings along the test and deployment process.
• Support the BAO on Business Requirements Dossier, Features and User Stories, contribute to M5 maturity, validate RCS (Request Change Sheet), and prepare the test strategy and test cases.

What you'll need

• Qualified engineer, preferably graduate.
• Knowledge of the Customer Services organization.
• SGML and XML knowledge.
• UAT experience.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• General IT environment know-how and IT development experience.
• Project management experience (SDLC and STLC).
• Well-organized and rigorous, with high autonomy.
• Advanced English.
• Good coordination, relational, oral and written communication, and reporting skills.
• Proactive mindset and customer-minded approach.
