Tech Lead, Software Development Engineering

Overview

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise identity and access management solutions. Deliver secure IAM capabilities across authentication, authorization, federation, identity lifecycle, and access governance.

What you'll do

• Implement, enhance, and document IAM solutions using ForgeRock, Okta, Ping Identity, or SailPoint.
• Develop authentication, authorization, federation, and identity lifecycle capabilities.
• Design and deliver IAM APIs and microservices.
• Build OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML integrations.
• Apply OWASP-aligned secure coding and SDLC security controls.
• Support CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code pipelines, testing, monitoring, and incident response.
• Guide internal teams on IAM concepts, protocols, workflows, and best practices.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of software development experience across the SDLC.
• Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as ForgeRock AM/IDM, Okta, Ping Identity, or SailPoint.
• Expertise in Java and Spring technologies.
• Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP, and related security protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, databases, cloud, containers, and orchestration technologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments or financial services.
• JavaScript development experience.
• Exposure to identity governance, RBAC, and entitlement models.
• Experience applying AI/ML insights to identity and access analysis.
