Overview

Tech Ops Engineer I monitors customer-facing environments for the Clearing & Trading business units, escalates incidents appropriately, and documents each incident and request.

What you'll do

• Monitor Production, Certification, New Release, and Disaster Recovery environments.
• Escalate incidents in a timely and efficient manner using defined guidelines.
• Document each incident and request handled, including alert-tool and customer-received issues.
• Perform basic functionality within incident management tools.
• Detect errors using monitoring tools under direction of the Manager TOCC.
• Recycle monitoring agents using basic procedures.

What you'll need

• Learn escalation protocol per application area.
• Learn ECC protocol for documentation.
• Learn phone etiquette for receiving calls and escalation.
• Learn to create bridge line.
• Learn application log locations and early log viewing for errors.
• Use department website for process recovery and learn application recovery tools and scripts.
