Technical Architect - Manager

Overview

Technical Architect Manager supporting banking and payments consulting engagements. The role designs cloud-native, scalable architectures and leads architecture governance, solutioning, and technical delivery.

What you'll do

• Translate business capabilities and requirements into target and solution architecture blueprints.
• Design scalable, resilient, secure, and cloud-native solutions.
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews, solutioning workshops, and technical roadmaps.
• Analyze system landscapes, legacy architectures, and technical constraints.
• Create HLDs, LLDs, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, and integration mappings.
• Mentor teams and drive engineering, CI/CD, DevOps, and automation practices.
• Support pre-sales through estimation, architecture proposals, and RFP responses.

What you'll need

• Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong command of microservices, API design, integration, and event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, service mesh, and API gateways.
• Working knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD automation.
• Understanding of scalability, performance, security, availability, resilience, and observability.
• Experience leading distributed teams and large-scale implementations.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of ISO 20022, payment flows, payment schemes, and payment hubs.
• Familiarity with Finacle, Temenos, or Flexcube.
• Experience with TOGAF, data architecture, real-time analytics, or Big4 consulting.
