Technical Lead Analyst

Overview

Lead the frontend architecture and end-to-end full-stack delivery of the Vendor Master Central (VMC) application, an enterprise master registry and market reference data platform, using React/TypeScript and Java microservices, with a GenAI-first engineering approach.

What you'll do

• Architect the VMC Maintenance Workbench, including high-performance virtualized data grids, dynamic column choosers, multi-dimensional filter panels, and real-time data quality indicators.
• Build the Single-Record Curation Drawer with clear visual separation of source vs. analyst-override values, contract relinking workflows, and enrichment rule status.
• Build the Taxonomy Assignment Queue for L1/L2 service classification and hierarchy proposals.
• Build Bulk Excel Engine integration for frontend/backend parsing and validation of downloadable/uploadable curation templates with locked columns and dynamic schema validation.
• Design clean, contract-first REST APIs in Java (Spring Boot) supporting pagination, sorting, audit log querying (AuditChangeHistory), and role-based permissions (Admin, Analyst, Viewer).
• Embed autonomous AI software engineering tools such as Devin, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor into sprint workflows to automate boilerplate generation, component scaffolding, migration scripts, and refactoring.
• Leverage GenAI to synthesize unit and integration test suites (Jest/React Testing Library, JUnit5/Testcontainers), generate OpenAPI contracts, and accelerate delivery cycles.
• Coach junior and senior engineers on prompt engineering, context engineering, and AI agent orchestration.
• Ensure client-side performance, optimistic UI updates, robust error boundaries, and seamless SSO integration.
• Implement full field-level traceability so every mutation is captured in VMC's 7-year immutable audit log with instant visual change-history inspection.
• Drive CI/CD automation (containerized builds, automated PR validation, linting, security scans) and enforce enterprise security standards.

What you'll need

• Expert-level React (18+), TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with high-performance data grid libraries such as AG Grid, TanStack Table, or virtualized grid architectures.
• Experience with modern state management (Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or React Query / TanStack Query) and styling frameworks (Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or Design Systems).
• Experience with client-side file handling, including parsing/generating .xlsx structures and template validation.
• Strong background in Java (21 / 25), Spring Boot 4.x, and Spring Data.
• Experience designing clean, secure, and resilient RESTful APIs, microservices, and relational data access (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
• Hands-on experience using Devin, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or custom LLM-based coding agents.
• Ability to supervise and verify AI-generated code for security, correctness, and performance.
• Proven track record leading agile technical pods, conducting high-signal code reviews, and mentoring C11/C12 engineers.
• Ability to translate complex functional specifications into pragmatic technical architectures and intuitive user experiences.
• Strong communication skills to partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, and global engineering peers (Belfast, London, NY).
