Overview
Lead technical execution for complex steam turbine controls services projects, from commercial inquiry through customer acceptance and commercial operation. The role covers nuclear and fossil steam turbine applications and includes technical risk ownership, design, validation, and commissioning.
What you'll do
- Own technical scope execution for controls system projects.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks across the controls scope.
- Support proposals with technical inputs and execution requirements.
- Drive architecture, design, verification, validation, and commissioning requirements.
- Coordinate customer requirements and maintain traceability through the project lifecycle.
- Apply Mark VIe, ControlST, and Cimplicity software in steam turbine applications.
- Ensure compliance with technical regulations, standards, and regulatory requirements.
What you'll need
- At least 10 years of steam turbine controls engineering design experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering.
- Strong experience with Mark VIe, ControlST, and Cimplicity software suites.
- Experience maintaining control application software libraries.
- Ability to analyze, design, and troubleshoot steam turbine control system retrofits.
- Strong oral, written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to meet goals and objectives.
Nice to have
- Nuclear power generation controls or plant operations experience.
- Experience with GE power generation controls, HMI, electrical, and cyber systems.
- Master's degree in a technical discipline.
- Field engineering experience with steam turbine controls retrofits.
- Experience generating proposals and pricing turbine controls retrofit opportunities.
