Technical Product Owner

Overview

ModMed is hiring a Technical Product Owner to serve as a strategic bridge between product vision and engineering delivery for its Practice Management product.

What you'll do

• Ellicit, analyze, and validate requirements for AI-driven logic and automation triggers.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, including technical specifications and workflow diagrams.
• Use data-driven metrics to identify operational bottlenecks and propose automation to reduce manual effort.
• Partner with Engineering and Product Management through the development lifecycle, handling edge cases and scalability.
• Coordinate alpha/beta programs to collect customer feedback before general release.
• Create “source of truth” documentation and training materials to support release readiness.

What you'll need

• Deep-rooted experience in Healthcare or Practice Management.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and problem investigation.
• Experience “looking under the hood” to ensure data integrity.
• Analytical rigor to design AI-related solutions that are compliant, scalable, and intuitive.
• Ability to explain complex AI logic to stakeholders and technical constraints to designers.
• Ability to manage high-visibility projects with minimal supervision while balancing priorities.
