Overview
Glean is looking for a Technical Program Manager, AI & Cloud Efficiency to provide end-to-end oversight of cloud and AI/LLM efficiency initiatives. The role maintains the portfolio, sets priorities, drives the operating cadence, unblocks owners, and ensures savings land.
What you'll do
- Drive cloud and AI/LLM efficiency initiatives.
- Own a single, prioritised source of truth for all cost initiatives and drive them to measurable efficiency and margin gains.
- Pressure-test savings claims by verifying realised versus projected savings post-launch.
- Prevent silent cost regressions from eroding prior wins.
- Build cost-attribution discipline through per-service, per-team, per-customer, and per-feature tagging and allocation so every dollar has an owner.
- Oversee LLM spend across providers, including procurement and commitment sizing.
- Govern internal AI tooling spend with per-user visibility, quotas, and value assessment.
- Build the observability and automation layer.
- Provide real-time cost attribution, anomaly detection, alerting, and automated triage.
- Automate cost-triage agents, regression detection, and self-serve attribution so the program scales.
What you'll need
- Deep, hands-on understanding of cloud infrastructure and AI/LLM economics.
- Proficiency in driving efficiency, capacity, or FinOps-adjacent programs.
- Engineering operations instincts, including thinking in SLOs, error budgets, telemetry, and postmortems and applying that discipline to spend.
- Strong SQL and data skills.
- Ability to query BigQuery.
- Ability to build a Sigma workbook.
- Ability to model a scenario.
