Technical Support Engineer 2, Premier - NYC (Japanese Speaking)

Overview

Premier Support Engineer 2 supporting Datadog Premier customers with technical questions about Datadog.

What you'll do

• Respond to client requests via phone, chat, and tickets.
• Educate clients on how to use the platform.
• Reproduce issues and investigate problems across Datadog integrations.
• Build documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Drive product conversations based on client needs and issues.
• Participate in routine health check meetings with Premier customers.
• Work from a Datadog office 3–5 days per week.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of related experience in multi-channel technical support at a SaaS company.
• Some programming experience.
• Basic knowledge of Linux.
• Fluency in written and spoken Japanese.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule requiring weekend availability.
• Self-motivated and detail-attentive with a desire for continuous learning.
• A client-centric critical thinking approach, with escalation when appropriate.

• Engages with Premier Customers via standard technical support channels, plus cadence calls, demos/presentations, conferences, and side projects.
