Technical Support Specialist, Level 1

Overview

Level 1 Technical Support Specialist providing post-sales technical support for SOTI software products.

What you'll do

• Deliver telephone and email based post-sales technical support for software products.
• Investigate customer-reported issues and collaborate with internal stakeholders to reach resolution.
• Update customers with progress reports on outstanding queries.
• Respond to customer requests in a timely manner to improve customer experience.
• Provide superior customer service for MDM solutions.
• Diagnose and solve application queries and answer customer questions.
• Reproduce customer environments using various devices to troubleshoot issues.

What you'll need

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Solid understanding of the OSI model and computer networking principles (firewalls, network protocols, subnetting).
• Knowledge of Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2008/2012 and other technologies (e.g., SQL, virtual servers).
• Knowledge of mobile computing platforms (Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, Blackberry).
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work as a team player.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
