FSTD Technical Support Engineer -1

Overview

FSTD Technical Support Engineer responsible for front-line technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Training Devices to support continuous training operations.

What you'll do

• Coordinate with FSTD technicians to ensure efficient Training Devices operation and reliability per Airbus training standards.
• Perform trouble-shooting interventions for device failures and instructors' requests with timely, high-quality actions.
• Provide technical troubleshooting outside Airbus working hours without immediate supervision.
• Run daily simulator/trainer operations such as version changes and pre-flights.
• Plan, coordinate, and perform preventive maintenance tasks and defined modifications.
• Install simulator software update packages and analyze/check recurrent qualification test preparation activities.

What you'll need

• Higher educational qualification in Electronic or Aeronautical Engineering or an AME course.
• Minimum 1-3 years continued and recent experience in FSTD maintenance operations and support.
• Experience with Authority FSTD certification and compliance audits.
• Basic awareness of simulator hardware architecture and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent command of IT and ability to keep abreast of technological advancements.
• Ability to work a 24/7 shift roster.
