Technology Platform Engineer

Overview

Technology Platform Engineer role creating and maintaining production and non-production cloud environments using appropriate software tools, deploying automation pipelines, and automating environment creation and configuration for a project or product.

What you'll do

• Create production and non-production cloud environments using the proper software tools such as a platform for a project or product.
• Deploy the automation pipeline and automate environment creation and configuration.
• Lead the development and implementation of automation strategies to optimize environment setup and management.
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Maintain and enhance the cloud infrastructure, supporting the technology platform's stability and scalability.

What you'll need

• Minimum 15 years of experience is required.
• 15 years full time education.
• Must have: Proficiency in Google BigQuery.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Google BigQuery.
• Strong expertise in cloud environment setup and management.
• Experience with automation tools and pipeline deployment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Familiarity with scripting and configuration management.
• Knowledge of best practices in cloud security and compliance.
• Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.
• Should have influencing and advisory skills.
• Responsible for team decisions.
