Technology Support Engineer

Overview

Provide Windows Server administration and L2 operational support across enterprise infrastructure. Resolve incidents, manage changes, troubleshoot systems, and support security and infrastructure improvement initiatives.

What you'll do

• Resolve L2 incidents involving Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and related services.
• Execute change requests and coordinate scheduled maintenance windows.
• Troubleshoot Windows Failover Clustering, DFSR, and load-balanced services.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificate issuance and renewal through PKI/CA.
• Configure Windows Server roles including File Server, Print Server, WDS, and Remote Desktop Services.
• Apply CIS security hardening standards and coordinate vulnerability remediation.
• Collaborate with Network, Storage, Applications, vendors, and service management teams.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Administration and troubleshooting experience with Windows Server 2012 R2 through 2022.
• Experience with Windows Server clustering and VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of SCCM/MECM for software deployment, patch management, and imaging.
• Basic to intermediate PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate certification.
• VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
