Telugu Voice Acting Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Overview

Record short scripted voiceover reads in Telugu for an AI training project, with clean diction, natural delivery and consistent quality.

What you'll do

• Record short lines and paragraphs in your dominant language across various tones: friendly, neutral and authoritative.
• Participate in paired or group script readings with other Telugu speakers, typically short scripts of around 5 minutes.
• Follow direction and retake as needed for timing, emphasis and clarity.
• Submit clean, well-labeled audio files on schedule.

What you'll need

• Native-level fluency in Telugu with strong, easy-to-understand speech.
• Must speak 2 languages well: native fluency in the listed language, plus either equal proficiency in the other, near-native proficiency in the other, or working proficiency in the other.
• Silent recording environment with no background noise, echo or hum.
• Crisp audio, with a stable setup.
• Ability to follow briefs and take notes on pronunciation or style.

Nice to have

• Prior voice acting/voiceover, podcasting or on-mic experience.
• Basic audio hygiene, with steady levels and consistent mic distance.
• A good microphone (USB/XLR) is a big plus; a pop filter if possible.

Details

• Remote, contract engagement.
• Contractor supplies a secure computer, high-quality microphone and recording setup, and a stable internet connection.
• Company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply.
• Pay range of $8 to $65 per hour, determined after evaluating experience, expertise and geographic location.
