Territory Sales Manager (Account Executive)

Overview

Entry-level sales role responsible for retaining and growing UPS's Small Package business through customer calls, cross-selling, lead follow-up and relationship building with key decision makers.

What you'll do

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues.
• Coordinate opportunities and strategies with other team members.
• Maintain knowledge of UPS products and services to develop appropriate sales solutions.
• Review customer shipping practices to ensure contractual compliance.
• Determine customer discounts and write new contracts.
• Educate customers on UPS's service channels to expedite problem resolution.
• Provide compelling value proposals to potential and existing customers.
• Perform pre-call research using automated sales tools into customers' businesses and account information to develop selling and pricing strategies.
• Make outbound cold calls to meet monthly sales targets.
• Research the competitive environment and use product knowledge to generate solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives.
• Build relationships with key decision makers and serve as a customer advocate.
• Sell additional products and services and follow up on leads.

What you'll need

• Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent software.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent.
• UPS and/or business-to-business or business-to-consumer sales experience.
