Transaction Services - QA – Sr Associate

Overview

Functional and automation QA role working exclusively on State Street's proprietary Transaction Services applications, collaborating with cross-functional agile teams to deliver high-quality software.

What you'll do

• Understand business requirements and define test strategies for software applications.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, test backups and other SQA artifacts.
• Perform integration, system, regression, compatibility and user acceptance testing phases.
• Create and execute test scripts via automation tools.
• Participate in daily Agile standups, iteration planning, product demos and application walkthroughs.
• Maintain and track test deliverables in the test management tool.
• Collaborate with business and development teams to deliver work items without ambiguity.
• Replicate production defects in lower environments.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in functional testing.
• Prior work experience in the financial domain (must have).
• Strong functional and application testing skillset.
• Knowledge of writing SQL queries.
• Proficiency with automation tools (Selenium with Java) and capability of executing test cases via automation tools.
