UI/UX Designer -Pune/Bengaluru

Overview

Design intuitive, visually polished and highly functional digital products by owning the full design lifecycle, from user research through to developer handoff, while advocating for the user and aligning with business goals.

What you'll do

• Conduct user interviews, surveys and competitive analyses to understand user behaviors, needs and pain points.
• Create user personas, user journeys, task flows and sitemaps to define the structure and flow of the application.
• Build low-fidelity and mid-fidelity wireframes to quickly iterate on layout concepts and user flows.
• Create pixel-perfect, visually stunning user interface designs adhering to modern design principles, color theory and typography.
• Establish, scale and maintain comprehensive UI kits, component libraries and design systems to ensure visual consistency across all digital products.
• Design seamless experiences across desktop, tablet and mobile screen sizes.
• Build interactive, clickable prototypes to communicate design concepts and transitions to stakeholders and developers.
• Set up and run usability testing sessions to gather feedback, validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Package assets, redlines and specifications for the development team, and collaborate during implementation to ensure visual fidelity.

What you'll need

• Mastery of industry-standard design and prototyping tools (specifically Figma, but also Sketch, Adobe XD or InVision).
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator) for asset creation.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, information architecture and interaction design.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React) to ensure designs are technically feasible and easy to implement.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a structured design process, user research case studies, wireframes, prototypes and final high-fidelity UI designs.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions, research findings and rationale to technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Typically 3+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, Interaction Designer or Product Designer.

Nice to have

• Experience designing complex, data-heavy dashboards, data visualizations or transactional B2B platforms (ideally in financial services, fintech or enterprise software).
• Experience implementing and maintaining accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) within UI design systems.
