What you'll do
- Configure, test and maintain multi-way matching rules, tolerance checks and automated exception routing on enterprise reconciliation platforms (e.g., TLM SmartStream, Duco, Gresham, or internal reconciliation engines).
- Investigate reconciliation breaks and discrepancies, identify root causes in data transformations, and apply rule adjustments or fixes.
- Write and optimize Python scripts and SQL queries to extract, transform and load transactional and ledger data into reconciliation engines.
- Review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and technical specifications to implement mapping rules, data schemas and validation checks.
- Monitor daily reconciliation runs, batch feeds and automated jobs, ensuring successful data ingestion from upstream systems.
- Deliver user stories and tasks to address the operational backlog of scheduled and ad-hoc reconciliation requests.
- Perform unit testing, assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and prepare deployment artifacts using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning and backlog refinement sessions within an Agile framework.
- Work closely with operations users, business analysts and quality assurance testers to clarify requirements and resolve defect tickets.
- Learn and apply emerging tools and automation techniques, including data processing utilities (e.g., PySpark, Airflow) and automated anomaly detection workflows.
